Hello My Crafty Friends,
Today I thought I would share a card I made a couple weeks back. I’m really loving the vintage look of things. It’s amazing to create things just for the fun of it.
Yes I actually burnt the paper and the burlap. I wanted to give that rustic, just shot out of a canon feel 🙂

Welcome Friends,
This week at Cricut Cardz Challenge, Mary asked us to make a card for spring using the colors Pink, Green, and White Only. Spring Colors! Color challenges and I do not get along. But I did have one cartridge that spoke to me. ” Lori’s Garden “. I have not used my Imagine in some time, and I really need to start getting back into the habit of using it more. I was using it all the time for non imagine projects, and felt my expression was getting left out. So now they both get used for there specific talents.
Here is my card this week.

Recipe for Imagine Card:
Cricut Imagine ” Lori’s Garden ” Cartridge
Lori’s Garden Paper printed on Imagine
Rosettes in Bo Bunny ” Holiday Cheer and Holiday Cheer Swirly Whirly ”

>Circle Blog Monthly Challenge!

>

For the Cricut Cartridge Chaos “Create a Critter” Please Click HERE
Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Or Good Evening my Crafty Friends!
I thought I better hurry up and get my Monthly Circle Blog Challenge entry in. The Challenge this month was to scraplift a project off of the Circle Blog. You have to use two Cricut cuts, Use a project you have seen on the Circle Blog for your inspiration, and Use products from at least two of the Circle Blog Sponsers.
I saw a cute Yourstory Photo project for a recipe book, I took that idea and made a card out of it, Using Imagine cartridge “Kates Kitchen”. For my two sponsers I chose “Cosmo Cricut” for the paper which is from “Material Girl”. And used my I-Rock and gems from Imaginisce. I also used a cute sentiment from Scrappy Mom’s Stamps ” A Pinch & A Dash” stamp set. The felt flowers are from Prima, and the bow is Martha Stewart.
Here is my version of the Yourstory Photo project on a card!

Hearts and Crafts,

>Cricut Circle December Challenge

>Howdy All My Crafty Friends,

I’m playing along with Cricut Circle Blog this month, and lets say they made a good challenge for the month of December. Here are there rules for this challenge:

•Use atleast 2 Cricut Cuts

•Use a tag made with a cartridge (there are so many great tags on so many cartridges!)

•Use the color red somewhere.

•Use ribbon.

•Use a phrase from one of the cartridges.

So my take on this challenge is the following:

I used Cricut Imagine Yummy for the bag cut out, Winter Frolic for the phrase Making Spirits Bright, and Birthday Bash for the tag. I also cached a pattern from Mr. Frosty for the bag. Sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Winter Frolic. I loved how this turned out. I had one last gift to give, so I stuck it in this bag. Better late then never right?

I used my Imagine for this whole project. I love that machine so much. Thanks for stopping by!

>Scrappy Moms "Designer’s Choice" Sneak Peek #2

>

Hello Crafty Friends,
Are you ready for Christmas yet? I just finished up all my Christmas shopping. And every year I say I’m gonna start early, and never do. Yes I am a last minute kinda gal.
Here is my Sneak Peek #2 for Scrappy Moms Stamps newest release “Designers Choice”.
And don’t forget about the cute and fun give away that Melanie and Tammy are doing in honor of this cute new stamp set.

This is a very special set that was created by the Design Team members. We submitted sentiments that we love and thought that you would enjoy using in your papercrafting!

Mel and Tammy thought it would be fun to have a little contest for all of you WONDERFUL followers! They are challenging you to guess which Design Team member submitted which sentiment…think you can do it? Email your guesses to us a scrappymom.stamps@gmail.com. Each of the members have at least one sentiment.

For this card I used my Imagine…We all know hou much I love that machine. I used 3 Birds on Parade and Life is a Beach for the treasure chest. Cricut Imagine cartridge Better Together for the pattern on the bird. It was Momo’s idea to add the cute bling (treasure) to the chest. Im thankful for her suggestion cause it really made this card pop! I embossed the background paper with the Cuttlebug folder Coolio.

This card somehow got lost during the last sneak peek for Scrappy Moms Simple Sentiments. Better late then never right?
Cartridges used were Nifty Fifties and Shall we Dance. Both of these cards were made while skyping with Momo and Paula from More than Favors. So I’m giving them credit for helping me when I had crafters block.

So don’t forget to head over Scrappy Moms Blog to see other cute projects used with the new stamp set, and email them with your guesses on which dt member came up with which sentiment. Im still trying to figure this out 🙂
Have a great day!
Meriah
